Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Your creations never leave your device. Headlines, text and exports are rendered entirely in your browser — we do not receive, store or see them.

We only collect what is needed to run accounts, billing and the waiting list, plus anonymous usage analytics.

2. What we collect

Account data: when you sign in with Google or an email code, we store your name, email address and avatar via our authentication provider, in our own database.

Billing data: payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer id, plan and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.

Waiting list: if you join the export waiting list, we store the email address you provide, solely to notify you.

Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, buttons clicked). These tools may set cookies. We do not sell personal data.

3. What we never collect

The content of your newspapers — headlines, subheadings, mastheads, images and exports — is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

4. Data retention & deletion

Account and billing records are kept while your account exists. Email support@newspaperanimation.com to delete your account and associated data; we will complete deletion within 30 days, subject to records we must keep for tax or accounting law.
